- Write your thesis statement and plan your essay using the 3X3 writing frame.

Step 3: Writing
- Begin the first draft of your essay in Google Docs.
- Make certain that your thesis statement is one sentence at the end of your introduction and that it expresses your claim and three main points.
- Point-of-view: Your essay should be written in third person. If you are sharing personal experiences as evidence, you will need to use first person for those passages; however, the remaining portions of your paper will be in third person.
